Sun Salute “Salute to the Sun”

So many of my students always asked me ” Why do we need to do a lot of Downward facing dog pose and a lot of Sun Salutation at the beginning of yoga class? ” So this is a great chance for me to share with you here as this is my first writing
Let’s see where we are? We are here in this planet “The world” Which is create the balancing by the Sun and the Moon. Every life in this world is the motivation and the creation of the Sun and Moon and the others little things. The way of pushing and pulling to each other create the Balancing of everything and every life in this world. The world will look different if we have no Sun or if we have more than one Moon. So our life and every life was happened in this world as its in the right time when everything Balance then its become life.
The Sun give us the biggest energy as we know the sun sending the heat or the fire elements it’s build up life energy. The 4 elements of life from the nature it’s all pure energy, Fire, Water, Earth, Gas all together create the life. As we know our body is live by energy and we have many kinds of energy in our body but in this article I would like to talk to u just about the Fire or the heat as its make most sense with this topic “Sun Salutation” so we need to have the heat energy inside our body to keep body warm then every organs can work well. When we lose the heat we become sick and when we have too much heat then we become sick as well. So live is “The Way of Heat Balancing” Or we balance Sun energy

We Salute to the sun as we respect to the Nature to the Sun, in yoga asana practice we moving our body and we have get into the connection between our body energy to the sun, from the sun also sending the energy to our body as we do the Inhalation as we lift the arms up in the “Urdhva Hastasana” from there we get energy from the sun then we ship the energy down toward the mother earth in “Chaturanga Dandasana” from there we ship our body up in Upward Facing Dog then to Downward Facing Dog ”Adho Mukha Svasana” this is just for the example. We have move our body to many different way, forward then backward upward and downward, all that actions it’s the way to create more energy in our body as we pulling and pushing as we breathes in and out from moving up and down as we bend body then we stand up. The movement and stillness of Breathing and Body action. All this thing create the Bang or the Vibration in our body it’s create the energy, it’s motivation of the vibration which is get the benefit to our cells, that’s how u get the Power of life or we called “Life force”

That is just about the physical how its work on our body in the same time when u move the body in your yoga practice the most power that u get its from the Mind. It’s the Mind’s Power. When the mind concentrate the mind has the power to connecting with the Universe or the Present or with the Now. The most powerful energy will building up to your body. Even u not really moving your body u will get the power of concentration when u can connect with Now. U will get to the sensation of connect to the Universe. That’s how u got a lot and a lot of powers.
When your Body connect with the Mind and the Mind connect with the Universe then u get the big and powerful of the energy move toward your body that’s why Yoga Asana Practice is different than the other body exercises. Its the kind of the Moving Mediation as when u breathes u concentrate with the mind , u create your energy so will never lose your energy but in the opposite you will get more and more energy or Life force into your own body and your own life
From what my teacher “Larry Schulzt” and the Yoga Tradition said. We will salute to the Sun, 2 times per day as when the sun rise and when the sun set. As in this time the sun has less energy and its effective to the body u will start to feel that the temperature in your body cooling down on that time so its good idea to do the Sun Salutation on that time as you and your body still need the energy for your body and to build up the heat to more power to our body and to keep it alive.
I will talk more about how we do the Sun Salutation for the physical on the next time, for now I hope u have got more understanding about why we do the Sun Salutation for and why we Salute to the Sun ,then when u going to practice yoga in class or by your own then u will understand in what do and u can get to improve for your yoga practice :)
